This timber garden recycling bin store is the perfect place to store your wheelie bin for general waste, your recycling black box for glass and textiles, your recycling blue bag for paper, your recycling red bag for cans, plastic bottles, pots, tubs and trays, your recycling orange bag for cardboard, and your food waste caddy.

Please remove any plastic envelope padding or excess sticky tape.
Flatten any boxes you can’t fit in your orange bag, tie in a bundle and leave next to your orange bag.
It’s not yet possible to put cartons and paper cups into your orange bag to be recycled.

Please rinse and squash dirty cans, tins, plastic pots, tubs and trays before recycling them. Bottles should be washed, squashed and the lids put back on.

Use for white paper, newspaper, magazines, junk mail. Please remove any plastic envelope padding or excess sticky tape. Put shredded paper in a tied plastic carrier bag.
What can and can’t be recycled in your Black box for glass and textiles
Put clean and dry clothing, shoes, towels and sheets (no duvets, pillows, dirty or damp clothing) in a tied plastic bag to keep them dry and put the bag on top of your black recycling box.

Glass bottles and jars
No broken glass, please. Put it in a rigid plastic box like an ice cream tub, mark it clearly as ‘broken glass’ and put it out with your household rubbish.
Textiles
Put clean and dry clothing, shoes, towels and sheets in a tied plastic bag to keep them dry and put the bag on top of your black recycling box.

- All uneaten food and plate scrapings
- Dairy products, cheese, eggs and egg shells
- Bread, cakes, pastries
- Raw and cooked meat, bones
- Tea/coffee bags including non biodegradable and coffee grounds
- Raw and cooked vegetables, fruit and peelings
- Raw and cooked fish, bones
- Rice, pasta, beans
- Uneaten wet and dry pet food but not pet waste

- Plastic carrier bags and food packaging, non compostable caddy liners or ‘biodegradable’ packaging
- Commercially compostable takeaway cups, plates and bowls like Vegware
- Large amounts of liquid including milk, oils and fats
